This provides a faster higher-quality image than with analogue due to the nature of the digital format. All video cards initially produce a digital video signal which is converted into analogue at the VGA output. The analogue signal travels to the monitor and is re-converted to a digital signal. The inbuilt HDMI 1.3 compliant 'Clear Eye' technology ensures your Source signals arrive at your Display in pristine condition. It allows you to use Output cables up to 10m without worrying about signal drop off over your Output cable run.
NOTE: Due to HDCP limitations, if you are trying to send signal from one device to two displays with different resolutions, using a HDMI Splitter, both displays will only work at the lowest resolution available. For example, if one of your displays has a 4K resolution and the second one has 1080p, the 4K display will only work at a 1080p resolution.
